Curryblogging

Tonight's ruby was enjoyed at Dilshad Tandoori, in Preston, where they are trying to educate me in the ways of Cisco routers.
A very traditional curry house, much dark wood and sober wallpaper with subdued lighting. Food was good and staff attentive without being pushy, although they were a bit previous brining out the starter course as I was still attending to the popadums (good lime pickle - no woody bits!)

Starter: Prawn Pakora

Main: Chicken Jolfrezi, Tarka Dhall, Mushroom fried rice.

Drinks: 2 pints Kingfisher, 1 coffee

Total cost: £22.20 (all the better as it will be going on my expense account :-)

A new toy.

Someone said Expansys were selling the Nokia N770 Internet Tablet for £73 so of course I succumbed to the gadget urge.

I'm sure I'll find a good use for it, it is much more portable than a laptop for quick trips away.

Thanks to hanging baskets provided by Jean Hounsell there is now a shiny cup behind the bar.
